​"Rivers of griefs" is the story of six underage girls who were abused by the same man, who impregnated them and forced them to flee without assuming the paternity of their children. After Santo's death, the lawyer Fernando Merchán, together with his childhood friend María Luisa, who was one of the victims, initiate a judicial process to seek justice. Cira, a 12-year-old peasant girl was also a survivor, but along with some other girls was not included in the case.
